Although the form starts out as a basic woven structure, each piece is embellished with beads , metal and various other accents to create a unique sculpture, which is organic in its form but alive with color and texture...
...The process begins with taking wet rattan reed and creating a basket form with a very random weave. Once satisfied with the shape, she reinforces the structure with larger rattan. When its time to focus on the surface, she will add metal, shells, beads and possibly even more rattan to create her unique vessels...
